5-Day Pre-Algebra Skills Workshop (Middle School)

Help your child finally understand math—not just memorize it

If your child struggles with fractions, forgets steps, or lacks confidence in math…
this 5-day program is designed to help them reset and rebuild.

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL GAIN IN 5 DAYS

Master fractions through visual, step-by-step understanding

Learn simple memory strategies so math actually “sticks”

Build confidence by learning how to think through problems independently

Why This Works (and Why It’s Backed by Research)

“Studies show that a student’s understanding of fractions and division in elementary and middle school strongly predicts Algebra achievement in high school — even more than whole-number skills.”
(Siegler et al., 2012, Psychological Science; National Mathematics Advisory Panel, 2008)

👉 FAQ Section

Q1: Who is this bootcamp for?

A: It’s designed for students currently taking Algebra (grades 7–9) who struggle with fractions, operations, or multi-step problems.

Q2: What if my teen can’t attend all 4 days?

A: No problem! Each session is recorded, and replays are available for one week so they can review at their own pace.

Q3: Will this help even if my teen “knows” fractions already?

A: Yes — we go beyond memorization to make sure students understand why each fraction rule works and how it connects to Algebraic thinking.

Q4: What materials are needed?

A: Just a notebook, pencil, and calculator (optional). Printable visual notes are provided each day.

Q5: Is this private or group tutoring?

A: It’s a small-group online workshop (4-6 students) — giving each student personalized feedback while learning collaboratively.

Q6: Who teaches the sessions?

A: All sessions are taught live by experienced math and science educators from Enrichology Tutoring.

December 2–5 classes will be taught by Sharronda, a certified science teacher and math tutor with 14 years of classroom experience.

December 1–4 classes will be taught by Amna, an Algebra tutor with extensive training in math and computer science who helps students build strong conceptual understanding and confidence. You can learn more about her background here.
